March For Real Climate Leadership

The largest rally against fracking in California history is coming soon — and we need you there! The March For Real Climate Leadership is a game-changing moment for the climate movement in California. No social movement in our country's history has succeeded without massive numbers of people flooding the streets to demand large-scale change.

This is the time to follow up on New York's ban on fracking! This is the time to show that we are stronger than ever here in California and say that we know the health and safety of California's communities are more important than oil company profits and we expect Governor Jerry Brown to act like it!!!

We are marching in Jerry Brown's hometown to pressure him to ban fracking, stand up to Big Oil and move beyond fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy. The March will be a colorful, peaceful, family–friendly event. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue to symbolize our precious air and water.

Emergency Vigil Against the Keystone XL Pipeline!!!

On Jan 9, the Nebraska Supreme Court reversed a lower court's decision and permitted the Keystone XL Pipeline to go through Nebraska. While the court ruled 4-3 against the pipeline, the vote fell short of the supermajority needed to invalidate the Nebraska route. This means it's likely that the State Department review process of the Keystone XL Pipeline is alive again. Now is the time to send a message to President Obama to reject Keystone XL once and for all.
